Overview
In the summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to intern with Precision Ag Construction in Grand Island, Nebraska. Precision Ag is a millwright company that focuses primarily on agricultural construction and repairs on various types of farming storage such as grain elevators, feed mills, and much more. I was tasked with creating a digital identity for the company, as they had little presence online.
Tasks performed
- I created social media accounts for the company on LinkedIn, Instagram, and X/Twitter, the three accounts combined have received over 11,000 impressions, and a combined 300+ followers. I also was able to study and pass my commercial Remote Pilot test, allowing me to fly drones for commercial use to capture photos and videos of job sites, allowing a unique angle of the work the company does.
- I redesigned, and expanded the companies website, to showcase past projects the company has created, and informing readers about the company, and the services they do. I learned how to use web design programs such as WordPress, Wincher, and Semrush. Using SEO programs such as Semrush and Wincher, I learned how to optimize a website for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I used this knowledge to improve the company's position on Google searches for certain industry keywords from being >100th result, to being on the front page, or the first search result.
- I created digital assets for web and social media use such as high quality logos, and more.
- I designed print materials such as new business cards, pens, hats, pens, and much more. These were given out to customers to reinforce Precision Ag's position in the millwright industry around Nebraska and the surrounding states.
- I created print advertisements for the company, which will be included in the 2026-27 publications of Grain Journal Magazine. Grain Journal Magazine is a significant publication within the grain storage and handling industry.
